Data protection: what we hold and why

Here is what becomes of the personal details sent through nietarragona.com, and what you can ask of us about them.

Controller

The details sent through the site’s forms are the responsibility of NIE Tarragona, reachable at help@nietarragona.com for every question or request concerning them.

Details we receive

  • From the request and contact forms: your name and email (both compulsory) and, optionally, a phone number, a nationality, the procedure that interests you and a message.
  • From each visit: technical traces such as IP address and request time, held in server logs so the forms can be shielded from abuse.

What they are used for

  • Replying to you and preparing the procedure you ask about, as steps you request before any agreement.
  • Keeping the forms and the site safe from misuse, a legitimate interest of ours.

Nothing is used for advertising, and nothing is sold.

Recipients

Our hosting and email providers handle the details for us under contract. To carry out what you ask, your request may go to a partner firm that prepares administrative files and contacts you for that same purpose. Beyond that, nothing is shared without your agreement unless a legal duty requires it.

Retention

Details are held for as long as your request, and any follow-up to it, requires, then erased or anonymised, except where the law obliges longer keeping. Server logs are short-lived.

The rights you hold

Email help@nietarragona.com to see, correct or erase your details, to limit or object to their use, or to receive them in a portable file. If you feel your details were mishandled, the AEPD (aepd.es), which supervises data protection in Spain, takes complaints.

Cookies

A single technical session cookie protects the forms. No cookie serves advertising or audience measurement.
