NIE Tarragona is an independent service that prepares NIE, green certificate and TIE files for people moving into the province of Tarragona, and sees them to the right police station with everything in order.
Our clients are newcomers on the Costa Daurada and inland: season staff, engineers, students, buyers and families. The procedures are national, yet their practical side is local: which station takes your comarca, which office rules on a permit, where the padró is done. That local side is what this site sets down, each fact with its official source.
We belong neither to the Policía Nacional, nor to the Delegación del Gobierno, nor to the Ajuntament, and we cannot hurry or decide any procedure. Our part is preparing the paperwork with you, finding an appointment and explaining each step in writing.

Neither police nor public office
NIE Tarragona is run privately and independently. Neither the Policía Nacional, nor the Delegación del Gobierno en Cataluña, nor the Ajuntament de Tarragona, nor any other authority stands behind it, and it never speaks for them. Anyone may deal with the administration directly, which alone decides every application.
